Many of us have at home beautiful reminders, left behind by our parents or grandparents, of what these people mean to us. Whether it's a set of cups, expensive china or a simple, hand-embroidered tablecloth our grandma used to make during long, cold evenings. For others, beautiful memories come to mind just by looking at the photographs hanging on the wall or placed on a shelf. However, we can also use jewellery to remind ourselves of an important person, a fond memory or a significant life event. And although unknowingly, many of us certainly do so.
